Terms of service

Terms governing Buildgridbase bursary application supporting-record audits in South Africa.

Effective 15 August 2026

Acceptance and scope

By booking a Buildgridbase review, you accept these terms and the written estimate for that engagement. We provide independent, visual and administrative checks of copies against stated bursary requirements. We do not authenticate records, provide legal or financial advice, submit applications, assess eligibility or guarantee funding.

Your responsibilities

You must provide lawful, accurate copies, have authority to share them, retain originals, identify the correct funder checklist and allow adequate time before closing. You remain responsible for corrections and final submission.

Fees, timing and cancellation

Fees and target dates are set out in the estimate. Work begins after acceptance and any required deposit. Timing depends on receipt of a readable, complete agreed set. Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by our refund policy.

Intellectual property

You retain rights in records you supply. Buildgridbase owns its audit-note format, site text and original materials. You may use your audit note personally for the named application but may not resell or misrepresent it as certification.

Confidentiality and data

We handle personal information according to our privacy notice. You must not provide portal credentials, card PINs or records outside the agreed scope.

Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Buildgridbase is not liable for a funder’s decision, changed requirements, missed deadlines outside an accepted schedule, issuer delays or indirect loss. Our aggregate liability for a service is limited to the fee paid for that service, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms and the accepted estimate form the agreement and are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. South African courts have jurisdiction.
